For years Garda Cartiere has been supporting important projects in the Trento region, which includes the company's effort to promote the best in local culture by working with culturally-committed associations, organisations and foundations. One of the most prestigious partnerships is the one with MART, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto.
Based in a truly cultural town, MART is situated just behind Palazzo dell'Annona, the palace hosting the municipal library, and Palazzo Alberti where Rovereto's municipal gallery is to be housed. The Museum is distributed on four levels: in the basement there are the archives and the library specialised in figurative arts of the 20th century. On the first floor, two galleries for temporary exhibitions have been set up along with the labs of the educational section; on the second floor, there is a permanent collection, an Italian art collection from Futurism to the present time.
