Cartiere del Garda has for several years sponsored the G.S. Riva Basket sports club, supporting the amateur and professional teams which are part of it. This sports project lays strong emphasis on promoting sporting activities for educational purposes among young people, as well as on fostering the growth and success of the team in the championships.
In fact, as main sponsor, the company supports the activities of the team, currently competing in the Second League. The team has changed its name to “Garda Cartiere Riva Basket” and is recognizable by the “Garda Cartiere” company logo which appears on their uniform and equipment. Cartiere del Garda's participation in the Basketball programme is an important part of our integration into our surroundings.
